Birendra Institute of Medical & Dental Technology (BIMDT) was established as a private Medical institute in 2059 BS offering three years Diploma program in General Medicine. This institute is affiliated to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) of the Government of Nepal.  Currently at present the institute has total 4 programs. They are

• General Medicine (HA)
• Diploma in Pharmacy
• Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Diploma in Opthalmic Science 

The institute is located in the capital city of Madhesh Pradesh, Janakpurdham on its own land and building. BIMDT has been established to provide the better medical education to the rural people of Madhesh Province. The teams of the committed & experienced teachers, the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staffs of the institute intend to make the institution a center of excellence, providing educational service of the highest quality together with the related educational activities.
Our graduates have already been serving in different parts of Nepal demonstrating highest standard of technical skills and knowledge they acquired at BIMDT
